Sintra and Cascais Private Tour with Traditional Portuguese Cooking Class

We’ll pick you up directly from your hotel in a comfortable vehicle and start our journey towards the magical town of Sintra, famous for its romantic palaces, lush landscapes, and unique charm.

Our first stop will be the magnificent Pena Palace, a symbol of 19th-century Romanticism and one of Portugal’s most iconic landmarks. You’ll explore the exterior of the palace, stroll through its beautiful terraces with your guide, visit the chapel, and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views from its viewpoints.

Afterwards, we’ll head down to the historic center of Sintra, where you’ll have time to wander through its charming streets, admire the local architecture, and taste the town’s two most famous traditional sweets — the delicious Travesseiros de Sintra and Queijadas de Sintra.

Then, we’ll continue to the home of a local master chef, where you’ll take part in a hands-on cooking class to prepare one of Portugal’s most traditional and beloved dishes — Cozido à Portuguesa. Once your meal is ready, sit down and enjoy the dish you’ve created, paired with local wine and great conversation.

After this authentic culinary experience, we’ll continue to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe, where the views over the Atlantic Ocean are truly breathtaking. To finish the day, we’ll drive along the scenic coastal road to Cascais, a beautiful seaside town perfect for a relaxing walk before returning to Lisbon.
